Listen I have been shopping USA made since 2019 and am embarrassed I had not found The Austin IT much sooner. After numerous high end purifiers made elsewhere out of country. I found it annoying not to have filters in stock or they’ve changed the filters making them impossible to identify. And eventually the heat or cool would go out or there would be random error codes displayed followed by other malfunctions. Finding the IT was great. IT is made of metal not plastic has no fancy digital displays no extras to malfunction just a solid purifier with three settings to do one main job clean my rooms air. It does fantastic. It was half the price of my last digital purifier and it makes me feel good to buy quality USA made products when available.

Amazing air purifier

I bought this unit to travel with on extended work projects and was looking for a portable unit to clean the air. I’ve tried other systems and none of them perform as well, as quickly as this unit. Within minutes I could measure (on a particulate counter) a huge decrease in the air in my living room. I did not expect such amazing results so quickly. I’ve even tested it out in my kitchen and have been astounded at how quickly it can remove odors from that space.
The overall build quality is very impressive and I imagine it will hold up to travel very well.
I also had a small issue with my order that I needed to contact customer support about. They responded very quickly and professionally and take care of the matter immediately.

Helped with chronic sinus infections

I purchased the Austin “It” for my office. With the construction of the expressway across the street, as well as the construction being done on the building I work in, I was getting back-to-back sinus infections. I knew the air purifier provided by the school was not enough. Now that I’m using “It,” the air in my office is clean, and my co-workers have noticed the difference. Most importantly, I have not had another sinus infection since I started using “It."

Zero smell from kitty litter

I bought two Austin Airs (the It for the bathroom, and the bedroom edition for the bedroom). I bought them to clear dust and mold spores from the air, at the recommendation of my home indoor health specialist. What I hadn't considered is how fantastic the carbon filter would be for suppressing the bad smell of the kitty litters! It's truly remarkable--I don't smell them at all anymore.
